Could we be seeing Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton walk down the aisle soon?

While there’s No Doubt the two are in love and ready for marriage, there is one hiccup standing in the way: religion.

The 50-year-old songstress, who was previously married to Gavin Rossdale for 13 years prior to their 2015 split, hopes to have a church ceremony to her country boy, but it “isn’t possible currently” because of Roman Catholic restrictions, an insider revealed to People. For those unaware, the church does not allow remarriage after divorce unless the previous marriage is annulled, which can take some time to accomplish.

Despite that, The Voice coaches are “very serious” about their relationship and are certain they’ve found “the one” in each other. Shelton has previously been married twice, but fell hard and fast for the artist:

“Blake was very serious about Gwen right from the start, and early on he thought about proposing.”

The source continued:

“It’s definitely headed toward marriage.”

Now, the couple is focused on living a happy life together with Stefani’s sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, and things couldn’t be better:

“They’re all very like-minded and comfortable with each other. Gwen brings this sparkle to the country world. Her love for Blake is clear, and she’s been embraced by everyone.”

So cute!!

The confidant elaborated:

“They fall more and more in love with one another, and their happiness quotient keeps rising.”

Just two months ago, the couple celebrated four years together, and the Just A Girl songstress opened up for her Shape cover story about how they’ve been able to heal together since entering into a relationship:

“I feel as if I spent the last four years healing—you know, trying to build my life again. Having a best friend like Blake to help me do that has been one of the greatest gifts.”

Something that’s definitely changed for the rocker chick is getting accustomed to life on the 43-year-old’s Oklahoma ranch:

“I’m an unusual product of an ordinary California family. My parents met in high school, my mom never worked, and we went to church on Sundays. Now I get to travel the world. And spending time in the middle of America [on Blake’s ranch]—that’s something I didn’t expect. The way we live at the ranch is really simple. There are watermelons that Blake planted and all my wild flowers. It’s a nice contrast to L.A., although I do keep 20 chickens in the backyard here at home too.”

Sounds like they’re living the sweet life, for sure!!
